Very true betty, when I started with orchids, I used to fuss about everything and constantly meddled and handled some of my favourites and ended up killing some of them, then I discovered, that the plants I had left to themselves apart from the regular watering and fertilizing were doing better LOL (By meddling and handling I mean moving them into sun and shadow everyday, constantly checking the roots, wiping the leaves etc etc. LOL)

Sometimes I think I should have myself committed! I just can't keep my crazy hands off of the orchids...I fuss way too much and I think they get back at me by not blooming. The ones that do better are the ones growing on the windowsills...I have a habit of forgetting about them, lucky 'chids! I'm with you...
