Default ID and care help needed

I had been seeing this bundle lay on the table at a local nursery for months now. I asked what type it was and was told they didn`t know and to take it home with me. I am fairly new to orchids and need to know what species it is and how to care for it. Help please. I thank you.

Looks to me like a bi-foliate Cattleya. One with spindle pseudobulbs. Looks like it could use some roots too. I would mist it heavily several times a day, suspend it in a clay pot without any media and once roots begin to sprout plant it up. No fertilizer and diffused light until it can be planted up. About a month after planting I would give it more light and would begin fertilizing. So - roots first then potted into medium and then light and fertilizer afterwards.
That would be my 2 cents worth.

You scared the shit out of me LOL, when I saw the picture first, it appeared that the light green plastic was a new leaf and you had somehow managed to get a white pipe through it hehehe ! Looks like a bifoliate Catt to me also.

Thanks to you all for your help. I got my first orchid about a year ago and have seemed to acquire a new one every time I see one unlike any I have. I have been winging it since then and could really use any help available. Besides having quite a few phal. I have 3 or 4 other varieties and have been trying to ID them from books and online. But they all want to just show the flower. I believe it is a brassia I have that is about to bloom. I`ll take some pics tomorrow and post them. I am glad I found this site! Thanks again!

You will find that the folks on this site are great. They are friendly and more than willing to help. Always remember to include a photo if you are wondering about something of a specific plant.
