    Default mold and organic fertilizers

I just opened my bottle of seaweed extract and found mold growing inside...is this common? Still safe to use? I would think that the mold would die off when exposed to the environment outside the bottle but would like input from those of you who know more about this sort of issue-if there are any that is. Thanks!

I never had this problem before, generally Seaweed supplements also have chelated trace mix in it which in those concentrations is inhibitory to the growth of most microorganisms. I would not recommend using that extract anymore, you don`t want to spray innoculate your plants with mold at this very climatic conditions, use it as a root supplement for inexpensive annuals in summer, if you do not want to throw it away.
