Default Help me ID this please

Hi everyone.. I recently bought this orchid in a local grocery store. The only other orchids I've had have been Phals so I have no idea what this is. Can someone help me identify it please. Love all the photos here. Who knew there were so many beautiful types of orchids. :o)

Hi there, i can tell you now, it is either an Odontoglossum intergeneric or an Oncidium, which one however, is a different story.

Looks a lot like Colmanara Jungle Monarch, but one can be never sure with these intergenerics as they are produced in the thousands and the companies producing them do not register them for the so called reason of ''secrecy'' LOL !

Amey, I think you are right! Good call. I would guess it is either that hybrid or another of Colmanara.

    cheers,

Oh, thank you so much. Did a google search of the Colmanara Jungle Monarch and it looks just like it. I wish I had different outlets to buy orchids from but the only places I can find them around here are grocery and department stores. We live in a very small town of only 4000 people and I don't get out to the cities much. Mail order is so darn expensive and I'm fearful of it. Thank you again for your help.
