Aerial Roots

    i wish i could grow my orchids in mounts but humidity here in Colorado sucks lol even with a humidifier

    I keep a 150 gal. horse trough with my orchids for additional humidity. I also have my orchids sitting on top of gravel that has water in it. It helps.

    That's what I think too. As long as the plant is healthy, I don't worry a lot about aerial roots one way or the other.

    The only thing that irritates me about aerial roots is when I pick up a plant and another comes with it - its roots firmly imbedded in the pot of the first........argh.....
