This is a discussion on Mini slice of the tropics. Orchids in bloom! within the General Orchid Culture forums, part of the Orchid Culture category; Ahhh that's ambience....
Ahhh that's ambience.
Do you mean them big cuban buggers that stick to your house and break spikes? LOL. My water dragons would love them. It will be like a bloodbath in here! Will need to apply wipe clean paint to walls. Give me 3 days and knock em over. We will form an alliance!!!!
I had two more thoughts that came to me while looking at these pictures.
1. Heaven at 7: Getting to sleep in until 7:00 would be heaven!! And a view like that would make it easier to wake up, but I wouldn't want to get out of bed and leave the room.
2. If Matt can do this in England, maybe we orchid growers are responsible for global warming!!
Now I have used up my thoughts...
Thanks for your thoughts Patty. Hope you get the chance to have a sleep in soon. Actually I get to sleep in later than that if its been a busy shift at the pub, cooking all evening and night on a hot grill grading steaks.
Might be a bit slow here but dont get your second thought! must be a senior moment! LOL Hope its not dementia.?What do I do in England....orchid growers....resp global warming. icon zip mouth???????
"Ahhh that's ambience"- Cattan.

Hey Matt...thanks for the trip around your orchid house!!!! Great Job and I love the pop bottle idea...I may be using it in the future!
Very nice collection, when i look at the picture i feel that i am in a jungle of orchids hehehe. :-)
Wow! U do have a lots of orchids! Your bottles to cover the orchids are so cute. We do not have a chance to use it here. hehe.
Many thanks to Cheryl - the pop bottle has been a very useful tool and easy maintenance for those oops orchids!
and thanks to Jeffrey - I spend hours in my jungle of orchids and glad you see the same lol,
and thanks to Sherene - its gonna be a while before I absolutely run out of room, still a few tricks up my sleeve.
