I do have one plant that I give something special to but it's not an orchid. The lady who gave me my stag horn fern said to be sure to give it a banana peel once in a while. But other than that it's time released and occasionally mixing the blue stuff that lives under the sink into the water.

That lady steered you right. I've been giving my staghorn a banana peel every couple of months for years. Before I split it this spring it had a spread of 7 feet with 'antlers' up to 3.5 feet long.

    Cheers

I did request membership - yesterday I think. If I get in, I'll post the photos. Like I said, I split it up, I now have two staghorns and so does my mom.

Mine is tiny miniscule even. It had 2 Antlers last year when I got it, had always wanted one, of course I wanted a HUGE one but I guess I have to start somewhere. It's got 4 or 5 now. I have on Brom have no idea what kind just call it spikey.

But if that qualifies I'll join the brom and Fern club.
