Question Miltoniopsis roezlii how do you water yours

One of the first orchids i ever bought was a Miltoniopsis roezlii i have tried watering it often and now i think im watering it too much as it has gained a little company the last few weeks in the way of what i think is a clover like weed. No matter how i water though im getting the accordian thing going on can anyone give me a little advise on it. I can arrange a pic if anyone wants to see it.

    Thanks
    Jason

The only diagnosis I have recieved from the accordian affect is not enough water at the roots whilst in growth and has been a common re occurence with most miltonias in the past so gave up on these ones. Although this is the only orchid i have had a problem with underwatering ( if that is the reason?????) as I can t grow most orchids in pots in my enviro due to root rot occurence and all have to be mounted. So if their is a happy medium to be achieved with watering these I never found it. Accordian or root rot? what a choice.

The clover like plant sharing the pot may well be oxalis and is vigorous forming a small bulb culture like blubells. It can be green or burgundy and is quite a little charmer in its own right with small yellow flowers. Many english gardeners use them as bedding plants or in hanging baskets. Have seen some specimen plants in garden centers and are quite a show.

    Cheers Matt,
Maybe i should try this in Hydro. I wont be getting anymore thats for sure. Just annoying when whats right turns out to be wrong. Well right or wrong i think Hydro and let it take its own water.

Hope it works in hydro for you. If it does then you can buy more as these pansy face type range of blooms are sure irresitible even if they are noid in the garden cntre or diy shop. I have had to resort to the bedding pansies for the garden outside because the faces do make me smile, but then i could be insane.?
