The only diagnosis I have recieved from the accordian affect is not enough water at the roots whilst in growth and has been a common re occurence with most miltonias in the past so gave up on these ones. Although this is the only orchid i have had a problem with underwatering ( if that is the reason?????) as I can t grow most orchids in pots in my enviro due to root rot occurence and all have to be mounted. So if their is a happy medium to be achieved with watering these I never found it. Accordian or root rot? what a choice.
The clover like plant sharing the pot may well be oxalis and is vigorous forming a small bulb culture like blubells. It can be green or burgundy and is quite a little charmer in its own right with small yellow flowers. Many english gardeners use them as bedding plants or in hanging baskets. Have seen some specimen plants in garden centers and are quite a show.
