Great job and Bravo! Brilliant idea and you have inspired me and more will agree im sure. Theres always something unique that a grower brings to their collection. Coincidentally we have stacks of lemon brulee dishes/saucers buliding up at work so have a good source. Very similar if not identical to yours.
These are gorgeous an it's a fantastic idea!!! Thank you for showing us. I'm going to have to give this a try!
I love this idea....
I;m going to present this idea in my next orchid meeting. It,s going to be called "The Eric Method" of planting orchids. I have set aside a few genera to experiment.
I would say that it has caught on fast here.
Really gorgeous! Are there any advantages of this method over mounting on bark, that is, do the plants grow better this way?
Not that I have used this method for long, but unless you break the saucer, you wouldn't have to worry about the mount rotting away.
i'm loving this idea! getting tree fern mount boards here is just so cheap and easy so im not sure if i will do this, BUT i will be showing this technique to my mom when i visit the states!! thank you for sharing the wisdom!!
