    Default Some of my recent mounts

    I thought I would share a few of the mounts I have recently made. Recently being a bit of a relative term. I have done these from 3 months ago through today.

    Brassavola ovaliformis mounted on mopani wood. It had been mounted on a stick and I couldn't get all the old sphag off.

    Thanks guys! I do pretty good with mounted orchids for some reason. However, this is my first time mounting a phal. Let's hope it likes it!

    Looks great, Jonada. I only have a few mounted orchids, but really love them. These you have mounted seem to be perfect fits for the mounts too. Good luck.

    Thanks, Bruce. I try to pick out wood with some character to it then wait till the right plant presents itself. The gastro was mounted on a shingle that had no appeal to me, so I found him a new home.

    They look great. I will be interested to see how the clay saucer mount does...I haven't seen that done before.
