    Talking Surprise Flower Spike

I got two new orchids half price out of bloom (both labeled too!). This one is a dtps Lucia Rose. It came with a bare flower spike which I just left there since it was still green. Today I was watering and moving things around and relocating my orchids to a bright corner of the living room and found a NEW flower spike starting up at the top of the bare bare one!!!

    Closer look:

And a peek at the "Orchid Corner"-- I outgrew one table...had to go to two tables. The orchid on the lower table on the right is my other new one. It's a Miltoniopsis Phalaenopsis.

I have 5 more in the kitchen and one outside! I think I'm becoming an orchid hoarder! LOL
