trying to ID this orchid

    Cool trying to ID this orchid

    I received this mounted orchid without a tag. A year later it shot out these wonderful blooms. Can anyone ID it?

    Maybe it's Encyclia tampense? The pink spot on the lip differs between locations it's been found.

    I also think it is E. tampensis. I have a plant and it is beautiful, as it gets older with more Pbulbs. you will have many spikes at the same time. Awesome.

    Hi yes I too think tampensis. ( If I have been a bit quiet its because I am in Sicily , away from home, and occasionally catching up on messages on the hotel computer. Back by next Monday , and I will then find out what has been happening whilst I have been away 'quite a lot in two weeks I expect)
