    Thanks, Wuness and Martha. I am pretty sure that I will never get the right ID but at least I am close enough. My flower has some blue shades, depending on the light but definitely far from what image searches for Zygopetalum mackayi showed (much paler flower). Zygolum Louisendorf is definitely much closer color wise.
