http://www.rv-orchidworks.com/orchid...chid-have.html I posted that roughly a month ago in total panic. Bruce was the first to give me a glimmer of hope, closely followed by other calm and knowledgeable OTers. I thank you all.
TADA!! Both plants are kicking neathers!Attachment 51327This is the one I thought was doomed...Attachment 51328 now it's trying to escape the pot.
This is the 'replacement' I got when I was preping for the oncidium's demise. This one took a bungy jump sans bungy cord off the shelf on the patio and fell 6 feet to the ground. The clay pot shattered, and the plant got bruised up. Now it's happily hanging on a railing on the east side of my house. It's the first to get the rain and morning sun up until 10 am.
You are well on your way!! And now you have spikes as well!!.
Let us see the blooms when they open.
Congrats on what looks like it won't be long till you enjoy the fruits of your labor!
Wonderful, long spikes...Keep up whatever it is that you're doing...Betty
AHA!! You've already found out the real secret to OT's special qualities - our much beloved leader, Bruce. We are all incredibly grateful for this Forum and
for the tireless and positive energy he puts into it. And that's a true understatement!
Glad your orchids have fallen into line - I know I certainly would be putting down roots and putting up spikes if I lived in Barbados!
Awesome! Well done!!
