    Default House painting nightmare

Ugh. I rent a condo in northern California. We have two seasons ...warm/dry and cool/wet. Unfortunately, our HOA has decided to paint the exterior at the most inopportune time. Just when the heat starts to get to us, all of my plants that were acclimating had to come indoors under lights. Bulbos putting out new growth, active dends, everything really. Granted, I can keep humidity up a bit more in the "office". These mounted plants were quite spoiled with the misting system I set up on my patio. They will be indoors with temps that I wouldn't tolerate for nearly two weeks without the mister system. I have fans blowing on the poor little guys...hopefully, it won't get too terribly hot before they get some fresh air! Wish me luck!

Sweet Jesus its finished! It's been hot as hell in the house having no windows open, but luckily, there have been no major issues. I still won't be able to move everyone back out until the weekend, but aside from having to ignore normal chores in lieu of orchid tending, I can live with it! Only issue so far has been that things have dried out too much from the heat before the next watering. Only a bit more yellowing of older leaves than I'd like. Hard to stay on top of it all when the plants need watering in the kitchen!Posted via Mobile Device
