I was wondering if anyone can reccomend a particular warm growing paph for a newbie?
I've had success with growing phals, so, are there any paphs that have almost the same culture?
Preferably a warm growing species paph?
most of the coryopedilum multifloral species & hybrids will thrive under warm conditions, although they may require a cool spell during winter to bloom. some of them are slow growing though. something like philippinense, however, is much faster growing and does not require the cool temps.
all the "maudiae-types" will also appreciate warm temps. some brachypetalums like niveum also love the heat.
