The petals/sepals aren't as thing and cork-screwed as an Antelope type, but it's obviously not a rounded Phal. type, either. Is it actually an Antelope type anyway, or an in-between cross?

Anyway, a year after buying it, it finally has the emergence of a spike! I'm thrilled that SOMETHING I've done all this year might actually be paying off. I'm hope that since it's in favorable enough conditions to bloom that my other high-light plants will follow suit.

By the way, that's actually a picture from when I bought it last year and the leaves are a much lighter green this time around. (which is a good thing to me, since it's obviously getting more light than whatever levels the grower had it in upon my purchasing).

I agree, the flowers are not clear enough for me to tell you too much about them. I see a tag sticking out from your pot, do you have a name for this orchid? That would lead us in some direction.

Is that a hybrid? Beautiful flowers. I'd like to know what it is also.

Looks like an intermediate throwing more to the antelope side to me. I'm going to have to look for one myself, I like it! Good color and just enough antelope curl, looks like fair sized blooms too.

I agree with Pipsxich. It is an intermediate - a cross between the antelope and the phalaenopsis type

Doesn't seem to be a registered name, at least not that I can find in The International Orchid Register / RHS Gardening , but I love the colors and the flower form, too. If you get tired of it, I don't think you'll have trouble finding it a home.

Just came back from a Google and Yahoo search for it and no luck outside of a year old Aussie vendors ad.
