    On my way to Panama for work, anyone know of any flower shops there that has orchids. Wanna see whats available in Panama if I get some time. I know, I know, I can't bring plants back (usually).

    If you ask around at the hotel, usually there are stores that carry the permit paperwork you need to bring plants back stateside. Just ask around. In some countries, the native people are allowed to remove a set number of plants to supplement their income. Just be careful and research what paperwork you need. And take a ton of pictures...lol...I love armchair travel.

    I was in Panama City for a Special Olympics event on April. I loved the city. The driving is crazy, the food is excellent and the people are really nice. Enjoy!

    This is my second time going, the first time I was just getting into orchids so did not think to check out the local stuff. I will only be thee 2.5 days so I may not be able to see or do much but work. I will certainly try!
