    My philosophy is to buy the plants as soon as possible so one has more years to enjoy them and to grow them into becoming impressive. I feel no guilt for having bought a bunch in the last few years. They are an investment.

    dats ok......i think we ALL should have at least one Gramma. to respect to largest plants in the orchid Kingdom.........i like the plain scriptum with all the spots...

    This is my second! Here is my leopard. first pic is when first brought it home and the second is what it looks like today. It has put out five new growths since I brought it home earlier this year.

    Looks like you have the touch! I am watching two of mine for spikes (that i've had over a year), and enjoying the same citrinum (also recently bought) in my backyard. Mine aren't nearly as pretty as yours. When they didn't bloom they got put on the edge of the porch where they are getting slightly singed from the late afternoon sun. Yours are just beautiful though...great job!

    Don't feel guilty Miller for now I have my own budget for a month to spend and reward myself.instead shopping for make up,I spend this money on the orchid and I stop when I reach the point(my budget)

    I am trying to grasp the concept of budgeting but it alludes me for some reason!

    Oh wait, here i'm commenting on your beautiful plants and you are asking how to slow down buying them. I must have read something wrong the first time. I still don't know how to stop buying them. Just ordered three today...lol. If I keep this up i'm going to have to build another greenhouse.
