    I agree with coeruleo and annette. I would not like to use any chemical for achieving a temporary good looking leaf and would prefer a natural one that is not that great but would help the plant

    Mist with RO water and avoid the problem altogether.

    Is there an inexpensive way to get RO water? I don't know much about it.

    I would think you could buy jugs of distilled water--I think that has everything taken out of it???? would think it is the same but not sure..

    It depends on what you mean by cheap. You can buy it by the gallon, but in the long run that won't be cheap. You can also get an RO filter, a small one will run you about $150 or so. You need to replace filters and membranes on those occasionally, but they will give you a lot more RO water. If you want to use RO water, you should also use fertilizer designed for RO.
