Default the reason why i love mounting orchid

Long long time that i never post on the thread but i'm still here.today i have time to grab my camera to show my last update for my small collection.

after i move my orchids outside in the backyard,i again move them in the corner of the house where i can control all need for the orchids.

for now one group of mine are in S/H but another half are in mounting.they're suit with my watering habbit. every morning i put all the vanda mount in the bucket of water and in the same time i can start misting another mount on the wall.

for now i have about 20 for mounting orchid, include the Vanda type.crazy root foe vanda and new growth for the catts.

hope you enjoy and tell me why i love mounting orchids...

i've jut cut out the cotton yarn from this mount today

    another side of the mount

    look,how crazy the root growth

    i love my mount

Very nice mounts, Kitty! The mounts look like bark (?) and the cattelyas seem to like them very much. I think I shall start mounting my catts too, especially the Encyclias. At the moment, I'm mounting most of my species dendrobiums, Phalaenopsis, Oncidiums and a few vandaceous types.Since mounting these the mortality rate has dropped drastically, especially the phals. I notice that your vandas are not in any containers and seem to be very healthy as well.

    thank you Jason

Mr. Yew...yes all the Vandas are with the hanging wire and some still in it's basket..i damages their roots and now they're all recovery and seem doing better.like i said i put them in a bucket of water 2 times a day,in the morning and afternoon. i love to put them outside but the humidity is the issue and another reason i don't like to move them again in when i have guess or party.
