    Wow, that would be a great move! That part of California is so beautiful. I would love to live there... great wine & food, climate and the Redwoods etc...Good luck.

    I always thought having an abundance of lovely orchids would be an attribute in selling a house

    I never knew that about Raymond Burr! That's so interesting. I'm going to look it up on the web. Do you know if there are pics to be found online of his orchids?
    If you do move, good luck with it all. Sounds like a great place to live. I have a friend who lives in northern CA, in Santa Rosa, and she loves it.
    We'll be moving up to WA next summer, it will be a total different environment from Texas!

    A few, I think. I believe he also had a huge collection in Hawaii, which may have been donated to some institution.... not sure.
