Looks a lot like Martha Hartley, Angela. (JVB X Mimi Palmer) - Very nice blooms.

Edited post because another possibility is Wong Poh Nee (JVB X tesselata)

Yew Sung is the expert on semi-terets. I'm the grasshopper and he is the Master Po on these.

Quite a stunner, regardless of "no name".

Could be the original V Tan Chay Yan ( JVB x dearii) or JVB x denisoniana. The form and substance of the blooms and the shorter spike do suggest a JVB, crossed with one of the suggested parents. Of course Cathy may be right too about it being a JVB x tessellata.

One of the auction sites recently offered a JVB X tesselata, the plant had short spikey leaves , of course the plant also looked like it had been run over by a truck. Hope you find a name ,beautiful whatever it is.

Usually crossing between JVB always end up with beautiful flower including yours I'm sure the smell also fantastic.

Angela, When I saw this vanda I immediately thought of yours. Do a search on Vanda Udorn Sunshine.

    Thanks Cathy,
It certainly looks very much like it. I am puzzled because I don't recall having heard that name before so I am wondering where i got it
    Thanks for your help.

Hi Angela! I remember you mentioned the you and your club got a shipment from a vendor that were all mislabeled. The plant I saw came from that vendor. Do you think the semi-terete came from there?
