Second pavel, and if it is a specie it is a schilleriana! the only one with those nicly mottled silver red/purple leaves. And if it is a hybrid it has alot of P. schilleriana in it!

I was wondering if it might be that. (Although I must in all honesty admit that stuartiana also came to mind -- but it has been such a very long time since I have gazed upon the foliage of either one and so the memory grows foggy).

I agree with Geoff. The leaves have the same coloring as my P. stuartiana, including the purple underside and the silver spotted top. If it is a stuartiana, you'll know as soon as it blooms. It has a distinctive flower.

To answer this question is not that easy chances to get right about 33% remember the species having the same color from Philippine are stuartiana, schillerianas and philippinensis for your information Robert those 3 species cant bloom at lowland as they need little bit cooler unless you live near the foothill, when I was in Sandakan 2 years backed I saw this plant with beautiful flower growing very well on the pine tree and the spore germinating like no body business along the same tree branches.
