Default Phrag Court Jester and Phrag Eric Young

I have 2 new Phrags that are not in bloom. I could not find them on the internet. Does anyone have a picture or a link?

I can not find a picture on the net for these names:... Phrag. Court jester (boisserianum) x caudatum 'Cuzco Green'...

and.... Phrag Eric Young 'Mont Millais' AM/BHS x Phrag. sargentianum 'Red'.

I think the problem is that your tags are written incorrectly and so you're not searching for the right phrases. Phrag Court Jester is (boisserianum x caudatum). Your tag should probably read Phrag. Court Jester (boisserianum x caudatum 'Cuzco Green'). Just do a search for "Phrag Court Jester" and you will get a picture of approximately what your plant will look like. The problem with finding an image appears to be that there aren't many pics of the 'Cuzco Green' caudatum clone online, but the fact that they used a caudatum 'Cuzco Green' vs. a generic caudatum isn't going to make a huge difference in your Phrag's appearance, besides hopefully giving it better form than one without a named cultivar involved.

For the second plant, (Phrag Eric Young x Phrag. sargentianum) = Phrag Sargeant Eric. Do a search for "Phrag Sargeant Eric" and you will get pics of what your plant will look like! Again, the award-winning parent of this plant will hopefully contribute to better form than one created by a non-award-winner.

Court Jester is quite unique ... I can see where they got the name from! It actually sort of looks like it's wearing a jester's hat! And the second one is graceful, with a beautiful color. I think you'll be pleased when you see the pics!

I am so jealous, Court Jester is number one on my wish list but over here in the UK I have yet to locate one. Doubt I ever will.

You can find Phrag Tall tails (Phragmipedium wallisii x caudatum) from a vender in Germany.

Thanks Ron, it is a really nice Phrag and I am so glad that I have finally got one into bloom. It takes so long for this one to grow. I guess that is the Caudatum influence. I shall hopefully be posting pics in about another five or six months...
