You will become quite the contortionist when it comes to photographing some orchids. The Broughtonia I posted yesterday was like that. Very pretty leptotes flower...mine got confused by our weird weather this January and it bloomed early.

I grow this one in a pot. I love how the centers appear to be little faces. Congratulations!

This is listed as scented. Mine didnt have a scent blooms started dying ten days after the first one cracked open. The third bloom still isn't open and appears to be dying

Mine will open a few at a time...when i'm lucky. Don't feel like you have done something wrong, I think it's just the plant. When yours gets larger it will probably open a few at a time. Oh, mine doesn't have any scent either...maybe ours are just being stubborn or something.

wasn't that shipped to you in bud? and then you mounted it also... probably too much stress on the plant. it happens, but next year it should do better. i've never had much luck with getting things shipped in spike to flower without losing most of the buds.

No I picked it out with 3 buds in person and 1 tiny one starting to poke through on a separate leaf. That one is slowly emerging . Keyword: sslllowwwwLy lol
