My vanda grew wild aerial roots that would just head towards the sun and, when I turned the plant, they would make sharp angles, pretty funny looking. I still don't know if this is a keiki or a root! Can't wait for more pictures!

Keikei...trust me I know your disappointment. Hang in there...maybe next time. I thought I had a spike on one of mine this year and was very upset when it went keikei. Full size vanda can be hard to bloom. I am finding you need a regular regimen of the right fertilizer, lots of sun, lots of water...and the plant has to be in the mood with it's moon in the lunar cycle. Ahem...they are the Diva's of orchids I do believe!

    Congrats ya for the keiki.

Dont be disappointed, when its time to bloom, it will grow flower spikes.

But the keiki is very fast growing. In a month, its alrd that big.
