mail order. google it, many places sell it, if you have a favorite orchid shop, check with them it's a very small little jar, like lip gloss. easy to mail.

so... i tried the paste on a dorit hybrid flower stem that had finished flowering. or at least paused flowering to rest. i peeled back the cover and dabbed 2 nodes. they both tried to grow ... something... but the the tip of the flower stem began to brown, and the whole thing died off in a week, with those little buds the last to turn brown. BUT!!!!! i also tried it on my Bollopetalum Midnight Blue on an older 'back bulb' and it is growing a new growth!

i'm so exited that this worked. it could be coincidental, but that is exactly where i dabbed the paste. i am trying it again this spring on another bulb, where growing died out on a lead a few years back.

There are a number of threads on keiki paste from the past. I've had very good luck with it, but the timing is crucial: The plant has to have fully finished blooming, or it will grow rank unorganized leaf tissue.

Maggs, that phal looks like my Wedding Promenade, a sogo? Do you know the parents?

yeah, the growth ended up being one flower, and didn't last very long. after it warms up i will try this again to see what happens.
