    Lightbulb Cattleya amethystoglossa

I bought one of these (seedling size) because I want to SLOWLY get into catt species (which intimidate me). I live in humid Miami and use hydroton for mostly everything.

Anyone grow these? What do I need to know? Any suggestions are highly welcome.

    thanks!

I have a seedling of this as well but have it in bark.I have some larger catts that i have used Hydroton & they do well in it , just make sure that when you water it really soak it & then let it dry out well before rewatering. When & how often you water it depends on your conditions , Catts seem really tough so should do well for you with a little care.
