    Default What are these??

I have these two under my care, but I dont know what they are. They arent mine and the person who placed them under my care. The labels are lost. I don't remember what they said. Or I dont trust the one that does have one (see first pic), besides its got no species name.
    Thanks:

I'd say the green one you will ever only find out that it is a Dendrobium... not a species but a hybrid... these have been hybridised so much that it is hard to find the correct hybrid 'grex' name for them..

the second one looks very much like Oncidium Sharrry Baby... does it have a smell... can't remember if it is suppose to be vanilla or chocolate... one of those yummy things anyways...

    good luck with the ID's

    cheers

Onc. Sharry Baby smells so wonderful! Makes people drool. There are several "varieties" of Onc. SB but I'd bet it's Onc. SB 'Sweet Fragrance.' Flowers look exactly like mine.

The dend. looks like an antelope variety (with those big ears), but I'm not a dend. expert.

PS - Be wary of vague tags. I was at a local greenhouse and they had a bunch of Onc. alliance orchids with tags that read: Dendrobium. I pointed this out to them and they could care less.
