I need your advice guys. I got this plant from ______. It say to give it shade, any temp between 55F to 85F and to keep it moist.
So I'm doing that. It doesnt look like its growing, but it doesnt look like it can survive in that pot I put it in. How would you guys treat/keep it? Would you mount it to something?? I dont keep it next to the window or anything like that. I keep it among other much bigger house plants.
    Thanks

    Here are some pics:

It looks healthy and happy to me. How long ago did you get it? I have a few Masdies and I remember a couple needing to get used to my growing environment before they put up many new leaves.

    Hi!

Looks like a very healthy plant. Keep it evenly moist and put it in a northern window. I dont know what climate you have but if you have a window that is not insulated perfect thats the perfect spot for this. Dont try to mount it unless you have a vivarium yhat you could keep a bit cold especially at night.
Masdevallias love high air humidity. Mist it whenever you have the time.

It looks good to me , I have a couple of the cooler growers, they are in Spag. like yours . When I first got them they sat doing nothing as jenn said it takes awhile , when they started new growth it was all at once . I can't add anything else to the good info . already posted , One thing, they like good water quality, rain or Ro . weak Fert . Gin

    Thanks everyone.

I mist it with distilled water, I've got regular access to that, is that ok??

I dont keep it next to a window, I keep it near an easter window, but its under the shade of an Aglaonema commutatum (Chinese evergreen).
I do have two vivariums, but temperatures are a big issue around here. I have to open the windows at this time of the year just to get the temps into the mid 70's.
