    Default cymbidium care

    leff cym. outside when temp went down to 32 degrees for one night. will this neg. affect the plant?

    As I understand it, it should recover from that temp. exposure if negatively affected in the short term.

    If it is going to hurt the leaves, you will see it right away. The leaves get darker and more translucent, then start drying up. 32 shouldn't be a problem. I was told to leave my Cymb outside until December, but in mid November, it got down to about 25, and all the leaves froze. It has two spikes right now.

    I've left mine out with a light frost and there was no problems
