    I would not waste so much money on running the humidifer 24/7 although it is very benificial for your plants, no doubt. That is your choice actually. Your phals look nice, very green. If you have them like that in this set-up for more than a year, certainly you could keep other orchids that way. A little experimentation does not hurt.

    yeah, when we went to the orchid auction, we saw peoples phal and we were very shocked to see that the leaves were very very differnt from ours... our phal just keep on blooming none stop.. about the humidifer, well we dont pay for light i live in a building so its all included with the rent so the window is a south/west windows...

    All sound fine to me!!!

    A east or south-east window, I believe is the best. Next to the best, is west or south-west window!
