I haven't, but as noted, it is coming to life already so I am just going to stick with water, light, fertilizer and good temps. Seems to be liking what I have provided it so far.

Harvey, if the green stuff on there is slimy, get it off. Other than that, it doesn't look too bad. Something that I use as a rule of thumb is if a plant has few live roots it needs high humidity and very little water if any. Also, I usually cut the amount of light if it is lacking in roots. Hard to hold 80% or better humidity in 1500 footcandles.

Should I move it into the orchidarium? It has both, lower light level (though a 6400K fluor. lamp) and higher humidity. Usually about 90% +/- 4%.

And the green is not slimy at all. But I will keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't get that way.

Might be good until you have some new roots that are a few inches long.

Thanks Wade! I tried to 'add to users reputation' but I had already added to yours and I was told to spread it around more.

Even though I have done quite well with orchids so far, I appreciate extra input to fill in my lack of orchid experience.

Lookin good...I don't know this Dendrobium but many of them are prone to rotting on the new growths if they get too much water too soon. Is that two new PBs sprouting?

I believe so. And hope so as well!

It needs some new growths as the original posts show.
