    Unhappy Cattleya Little Baby

    Hello guys!
I'm new with orchids, my parents used to have a lot of them when I was younger, so one day I received one from my mom and I decided to try taking care of one by myself..
Today I have 4 orchids, 3 Phalaenopsis and one cattleya that I bought ( maybe 3 months ago).

The cattleya is a little baby, I bought it ---- Vendor information removed - see FAQs on Posting ----
, I was just fascinated with the idea of growing a little one.
However, I have seen any change.. so far since the day I bought it.. There is a new pseudobulbs that was growing when I bought it but now that I have been watching it more closely, I even't seen any change..
Also, I have a feeling that the media might be drying to fast. Because the leaves have dry spots on the edges..
I am using a phalaenopsis mix for the media because the lady at the store told me it would be just fine.. and I mixed it with a little bit of moss. Watering once a week or before if I feel that the media is completely dry.
Should I be giving any kind of special care since it is a small one?
Also, I live in an apartment, so there's always some shade and the apartment most and the temperature is always between 73-77 C. ( I live in Miami, so the AC is on almost the whole day..)
I give it fertilizer in between watering.. (Once a week, than 2 weeks with only water, then fertilizer again)
I am trying to post pictures so I could show you guys, but I guess the "Manage Attachments" doesn't work.. Has been showing like if it was trying to upload the picture for a while ( And the pictures are small).

    Thanks!
    Joy

Welcome from Malaysia. The climate here is very different from yours.. I grow all my orchids outdoors 24/7 and have no experience growing indoors, so can't give you any good advice. However as general rule, I fond that seedlings and young plants need more water.

If it seems to be drying out too quickly, toss a bit of sand into the pot and water it in. You said that your other orchids are Phals and if this is smaller it will need more frequent watering. In a small clay pot, if the pot feels dry, the plant is dry and needs water.
