Default Help ID what this is.

I cannot remember from where I acquired this plant, but I have had it for about a year, and it is mounted on a clay saucer. It has struggled to send out a spike with 3 buds. one bud aborted, one opened yesterday and overnight something had dinner on two of the petals. I did not want to wait for the last bud to open, just in case something ate that as well, so I am attaching a pic. of what's left of the opened flower and the backbulbs.
The backbulbs look like Schom. but rather short.
I realise that this is a long shot, but one of you might just recognise it by the beautiful colour. I have no other clue as to what this plant coulld be
    Thanks
    Angela

    Drat!

My wish list is getting fat again!

Very cool bloom! It looks like it would be fragrant. Is it?

Yes... Certainly a Myrmecophila (formerly Schomburgkia), probably albopurpurea. You may see pictures much like this as vars. of thomsoniana or thompsoniana, but it seems like albopurpurea is probably the preferred name.
