OMG i am soooooooooooooooooooooo pissed i was watering a few of my orchids, and bang in slow motion one of my blooming orchids fell a few feet (10 feet) while i had one in my hand... i quickly but the other one down.. and rushed to save the one that fell...and to my surprise it was in perfect condition... However, the one that i put down broke thank god that it had 2 spikes, but one of them broke ( i don't even know how) cause it looked normal before i went to work....

I'll post pics of it when i get home, tho the vase that i for from my aunt came to good use

the ironic thing is that the plant that i was trying to save, was perfect.. no harm... but the one that didnt need saving... i did more harm ..lol

    Hi Dani,

I totally understand! It was just a year ago I had both knees replaced. I was less than a week out of the hospital and excited about all the flower spikes that had been growing up at home over the previous several months.

Here was my tale of woe (the first of several last winter):

It really helps to know we've all done it, but what helps even more is what Jason suggests in my thread - go out and treat yourself to a healthy, blooming plant as therapy!

When you hang around them long enough, this, unfortunately, is inevitable. Happened to me a few times.
