Did not quite know where to post this. Hope all those who had responded to my original post sees this. (Ref. help ID this Catasetum. 6/9/14. Gen Orch. Culture)
I have managed to track down from whence the plant was bought, and I now have the name.
Ctsm. pileatum var imperiale ('Pierre Couret') HCC/AOS X Ctsm. Live Oak. HCC/AOS.
Thanks again to everyone
thanks the update, greatly appreciated but something is still not right here.
"Live Oak" and "Pierre Couret" are both cultivars or ctsm imperiale (ctsm imperiale is now considered as a species of its own and no longer named as ctsm pileatum var imperiale).
if the tag is correctly labelled "Ctsm. pileatum var imperiale ('Pierre Couret') HCC/AOS X Ctsm. Live Oak. HCC/AOS", you will still get a ctsm imperiale but from your picture posted earlier, it is not a pure ctsm imperiale. perhaps part of the name is still missing.
