Smile waterfall miltonia rubenesque ' juicey'

I have just bought a miltonia rubenesque ' juicey'. Its a waterfall miltonia. I have been after a waterfall one at a reasonable price for ages. I don't know why they are asking such ridiculous prices for these in aus. I am excited to find one at a price i am willing to pay and the size that is worth buying. Its in flower and when i get it I will post a photo hopefully the flowers will still be worth a photo. i bought one a while ago and the thing was all the bulbs were shrivelled and hasn't done anything it had a new growth on it but no roots and that has stalled i live in hope that it will come good but I'm not confident so I got a replacement i think i was had there anyway these are the risks you take buying online luckily that doesn't happen very often

We always want to see pictures of what posters post about. It helps us relate and give better advice.

Nice photo...but we prefer "Your" orchid. Its more realistic and first hand experience from you.

Please do post when you receive it...

I'm really confused now. I have that exact same plant and after reading posts was convinced it was a miltonopsis, the pansy type with the wonderful fragrance. Am I wrong?

Think I'd have called it the 'bat-eared-crab' miltonia.

That orchid can be cleaned up and repotted and should survive - if it still has roots. The new growth there is promising. But - it should be repotted and kept in a high humidity environment with good air movement.

    cheers,
