Today I had a scare, one of my cattleya orchids got blown off of a step from about fifteen feet high, it was in a clay pot but I think the pot was too small for the size plant (I got it like that two weeks ago and the roots were holding on to the pot) luckily the plant did not suffer damage so I picked it up and put it into a larger clay pot, I am thinking of putting it into a wire basket or mounting it just as I have some others, there is a new plant too, I wonder if the shock will cause it to flower, I have heard people saying that.
sorry to hear that Maggs. It could flower by stress but not always.
