Hi everyone, long time off the orchid talk. Hope everyone is well. Seems like you are really having a cold and freezing winter over in the north of USA.
Do you think the ID of this dendrobium is Dend. striaenopsis or bigibbum.
The flowers are approx. 5-6 cm wide. Stripes on lip. 12 flowers on a 22cm inflorescence.
Pseuodos. 30cm long and about 1 cm. in thickness. Seems to be 6 leaves from which the inflorescence comes out. It is in flower now, which is end of our summer. Any help.

Hello rosie. This looks like bigibbum or a primary hybrid of it. Dend. striaenopsis seem to be a subspecies of bigibbum. Check the closeup picture in IOSPE.IOSPE PHOTOS. There are a few folks who are knowledgeable in Australian native dendrobiums. may be they could help
