    Default Orchid I.D help

    Hello Folks,
How is everyone, i haven't posted for a while, but have been keeping track of the forum.
I have collected a few new plants in the last year or so and one of these i would like some help on.
I have no idea what this orchid is and would love some help, I have attached some pics and perhaps the only additional info is that the flowers put out an aniseed smell which is fantastic, love it.

    Thankyou
    Chanoo

Very nice! Could be Dendrobium (Dockrillia) wassellii, though to my eye the flower segments look too wide, the habit too sprawling and the leaves insufficiently furrowed for that species. My guess would be Dendrobium (Dockrillia) racemosum, or possibly casuarinae or something else closely related. Where in the world are you located? I have a very similar looking (and likewise aniseed-fragrant) plant I bought at a show in FL, USA, labeled as wassellii but clearly a different species, for which racemosum or casuarinae are my best guesses of ID. Whatever it is, your plant is very well-grown with beautiful flowers, thanks for showing it to us!
