Default Info on these Paph rothschildianum clone names?

Hi guys! I'm new to the forum and I have a question...

I recently bought a seedling Paph. roths. for relatively cheap compared to other roths I have seen.
I was just wondering what the parent plants are like as I can't find these clonal names with a simple google search.

    It's a Paph. rothschildianum 'T.L.' x 'P.T.' SM/TPS.

    Thanks!
    Greg.

Generally speaking, Roths' are very similar to one another. Orchidwiz shows over 200 awarded forms - and even then has few of the European ( e.g. RHS) awards, although we are not as free with awards on this side of the Atlantic anyway ; but even looking at the pics of these awarded ones, you will be hard put to, to tell them apart, except from some nuances of colour. And the problem with colour variations is that some of it is merely the light in which they are viewed, and part of it is culture.
The other thing to remember about paphs is that they are quite different from most other orchids in that ( mostly)you only get identical plants with the same clone name by division, which does not happen very often. Which means that if there are 200 plants of Paph rothschildianum in cultivation now, all round the world, they could have almost as many different clone names. If you divided your plant into two, and sold one, your buyer could give it a different clone name to the one you use, and so on. So these names don't mean very much.
Just enjoy your roth - if you can grow it, I'm sure you will.
