Default Has anyone seen a Phal. Snow Leopard?

I have seen the Phal. Snow Leopard listed in many crosses that I always love, but after several years of searching have yet to find a picture of one, one on display, or listed in a grow list for sale. I am begining to wonder why, has anyone heard of this plant?

Howard, try going to the google website, and then click on the option to search for images... on that type phalaenopsis snow leopard, you should get a match...

looks like a white phal with pink spotting on the petals and sepals with a yellow lip overlayed with red...

    cheers

I contacted a grower who breeds Phals and has done many crosses using Snow Leopard. He is checking to see if he has any seedlings left from stem props done last year... He only has his one stud plant. IF he has seedlings I'll put you in touch with him. (he has a couple super crosses that look very Snow Leopard-y too) He may be able to point me in the right direction for a plant if he does not have one.

    I concur,

THUS IT BEGINS, MORE ORCHID! BUT HOW COULD WE SAY NO? Instead of spending money on stuffs that make us FAT (ice scream, candies and I don't mean the chocolaty kinds) or sick (cigarrettes), or more DVDs which we almost never watch again, I go for orchids!
So Diane, can I be put in the loop too since I also want one?
    Cheers. Hoa.

That is a unique look, the plants that I have seen resulting from a cross with this plant were always very striking. I had always thought the this plant had to have some unusual coloring and formations.

Thank you Diane for that info and your efforts. It would be good to aquire one for myself. It is a weakness, seems that the more allusive the plant is the more I want it. Tony is right at least it is a healthy addiction and with orchids after a few years you end up with more to share!
