I keep my neo hybrids with my vandas. I have the exact plant you are raising and have had it about a year. I am in humid Florida so I don't need pots for mine. However, since you are in Oregon you may want to pot this one up. You can use charcoal wrapped in spagnum like a regular finetia, or try using a vase. Those who raise them in a vase, buy a glass one with the top sized so you can set the basket into it without it falling through. Roots should hang down into the vase. You water it every few days allowing it to sit in warm]water for about ten minutes. Then pour out the water and return the plant to a bright sunny and warm windowsill. Most of the neofinetia hybrids are wonderful little plants and will grow and bloom nicely indoors. My mom in Michigan has a neo hybrid I sent her home with and it has survived two Michigan winters in the kitchen windowsill...so far.

I keep my vanda in a basket over my fish tank and soak it once a day for 20 minutes in a big plastic popcorn bucket and mist it a few times a day with a 25 ppm fertilizer spray
I keep my house a 50% humidy most of the winter and they will go outside for the summer where the humidly is around 65%
I have my vanda 2 months and it is growing a new leaf and t air roots look nice and plump and green , it lost a few leaves from shipping but other wise it is doing great
