    Default Repotting new Cattleya Lueddemanniana

I want to know if I should repot this little guy or wait until later and what to wait for... I just got it at the Spokane Orchid Show last weekend and the date on the back of the tag is 4/13, but I don't know if that was when it was last potted or when it was started - its pretty little.

The plant fills the pot well and is growing over the edge with the last growth. It does have new roots that are about an inch long, but the growing tips seem to be damaged, I don't know if they will be actively growing or not. It would probably be ok for another growth sizewise, but if it hasn't been repotted for 3 years, I'm concerned about the media. I will be changing it to S/H as my Catts seem to like that in my conditions, but I know its going to stress the little guy. It does have some sun/heat damage on the leaves, but otherwise seems quite happy. It's in a 2" pot.

I've included pictures. Any ideas as to the best course?

    Thanks for your help!

Repotting that one would be a priority if it were mine.

Active root tips are there, I would certainly look to repot it.
