Default orchids in a glass bell jar???

I have a friend who wants to grow orchids in a very large bell jar she has. Well she asked me to help cuase she has seen what I can do with a terrarium. I however am thinking that the bell jar would have to be opened every night to let the air circulate.
She wants a small collection of different orchids, varying in size from small to large, in this glass bell jar.
Can anyone recommend any orchids, The center and tallest part of the jar is about 24 to 36 inches high. I think its about 18 inches in diameter.
Do you guys think it wouldnt be a good orchid grower?
    Thanks.

I have heard of Ludisia's being grown like this bit nothing else. The Ludisia's are
normally grown for there foliage ,but have a pretty flower. The plants grow to about 4-5 inches and the spike comes out of the top with a lenght about 10-12 inches
