Alrighty Ray!!! I am going to try one or two of them, but I am holding my breath. When a plant dies for whatever reason it makes me wonder what I am doing with all these plants, but after a while I get over it. Can you give me some advice on if an Onc like Sherry Barry will handle warm temps? I have one greenhuse that gets very very hot ( I use alot of fans, a shade cloth, and misting system) to keep the temps down. It also depending on location can get very bright light. I also have 2 mini-greenhouses. One that gets mostly, only evening light and another that gets more light. What is your advice on which would do best for Oncs of that variety.

I think warmth is fine for most oncidiums, but they will need more shade than if grown a bit cooler.

This may sound like a contradiction but according to a very well-known orchid grower in Florida, orchids that prefer somewhat cooler temperatures can still grow very quite well under warmer conditions if their roots are exposed on a mount.
