Any ideas on this one? Its about 7" tall and has 2-3 pink and white flowers at the end of the pb when it blooms. Found in Central America is the best I can do.

At first glance it reminds me of my Arundina graminifolia, also called Bamboo Orchid but I am not positive yours is the same, just a thought!

Arundina graminifolia was my first impression also. It occurs pretty much everywhere in the tropics and subtropics now.

You often see Arundina graminifolia pictured as a huge clump, or entire field, because it grows like a weed. But like most weeds, I think it will start blooming when still rather small.

Looks like Arundina graminifolia. It can bloom may be next season. Can grow in open sun.

Other Arundina species will flower when that size, but a typical A. graminifolia is usually about 4 ft or more when it blooms unless stunted by harsh conditions.
