Default Seaweed results can get a little crazy...

I was gifted this rescue orchid not long ago.
Did a repot as the orchid was severely root bound in those grocery store/flexible plastic/super packed sphag pots.
I wish I took a photo, but it was like a wall of roots wound around the pot.

Anyway, did the usual clean up and seaweed soak before repotting. Not sure what combination of factors came into play, but I was greeted by about a dozen new growths a couple of weeks later. Half of them from one root!

Yep. I'd remove the 2 lower, yellowing leaves so the roots can grow down toward the media,

    Auxins can be amazing.

When I was first given a sample of KelpMax and tried it on my vandaceous orchids, the average number of new root branches was 42, when I was used to more on the order of six or eight.
